Snow Day " Five Minute Photo assignment "

Today I decided to take a snow day with the kids. I have not posted for sometime, so I thought it was time to get back to blogging. Today I gave my self a photo assignment (the five minute shoot). This means 5 minutes to find a topic/subject and shoot it. Today's subject matter was taken for the most part with natural light with some off camera flash.

Cheers,
Colin

Our Family Photoshoot

We had local photographer and great friend Craig Robinson from Robinsonfotografix.com come to the house to take family portraits and eat sandwiches. I can absolutely say without hesitation that he is the second-best photographer we know!! Seriously, Craig is a fantastic photographer and we were so happy with how great he made us look!

Boxing Poster

I've been crazy busy wraping up wedding season and haven't had a chance to do much blogging. Awhile back Rideau Carleton Raceway wanted to use one of my boxing images to promote an event. The main image is mine and the artwork was done by a great local company Full View Design. I can't wait to work the them again.

Remembrance Day

Today is November 11, 2008...Remembrance Day. I would like to start off by thanking all the men and women in the Armed Forces for their efforts in making Canada the best country in the world! The Canadian Press did a great write up on today's Tribute, please check it out. There's a good chance that each of us have a family member or friend that has served, or now serves, in the Armed Forces. My grandfather, father, uncles and most recently my best friend put their lives in harm's way to protect the values and people of this great country. To them I say thank you for going the distance for freedom. I will always Remember.

Cheers

The Vandel family

I had such a good time photographing the Vandel family portrait this past thanksgiving weekend. I love the way the shots turned out. It was such a beautiful day with all the fall colours. I would also like the thank Kim Henderson for helping me out with family portrait. The last two shots are hers.
Cheers
