Something to make you think!!!!
Time Bank
Chew on this one today. Happy Sunday!!
Imagine there is a bank that credits your account each morning with $86,400. It carries over no balance from day to day. Every evening the bank deletes whatever part of the balance you failed to use during the day. What would you do? Draw out every cent, of course!!!!
Each of us has such a bank. Its name is TIME.
Every morning, it credits you with 86,400 seconds.Every night it writes off, as lost, whatever of this you have failed to invest to good purpose.
It carries over no balance. It allows no overdraft. Each day it opens a new account for you.
Each night it burns the remains of the day.
If you fail to use the day's deposits, the loss is yours.
There is no going back. There is no drawing against the "tomorrow".
You must live in the present on today's deposits. Invest it so as to get from it the utmost in health, happiness, and success!
The clock is running. Make the most of today.
To realize the value of ONE YEAR, ask a student who failed a grade.
To realize the value of ONE MONTH, ask a mother who gave birth to a premature baby.
To realize the value of ONE WEEK, ask the editor of a weekly newspaper.
To realize the value of ONE HOUR, ask the lovers who are waiting to meet.
To realize the value of ONE MINUTE, ask a person who missed the train.
To realize the value of ONE SECOND, ask a person who just avoided an accident.
Treasure every moment that you have! And reassure it more because you shared it with someone special, special enough to spend your time.
Remember that time waits for no one.
Yesterday is history.
Tomorrow is mystery.
Today is a gift.
That's why it's called the present!

I-POD Portraits
I was talking over some ideas for up coming photo shoots with a good friend Jimmy-B this week. We decided that with I-Pod's becoming a bigger part of pop culture, that it was about time I took some self portrait's using the I-Pod's LCD screen as a light source. ( the only light came from the 30GB I-Pod Classic ). I plan on expanding this project using I-Pod's as a light source in the future.

Cool New Studio
(I took this blog post and slide show from Icon Imaging's photography Blog)
I haven't posted much over the past few weeks as I haven't been shooting very much. This is because almost every spare moment I have been building our studio. The studio couldn't have turned out as great as it did if it wasn't for my brother Chris (Harrington Home Improvements - he does great work, and I'm not just saying that because he's family! If you need a renovation completed, call him, he's got good rates and great workmanship), and Marc (my business partner), and Colin (who did alot of work), and Julia (for her assistance with all the final touches). The pics from this project are posted below. This studio space will be available for renting come the new year. Thanks again to everyone for your time and great effort!!!

A few photographers and myself have started up a "One-a-week" challenge where we have to have a photo shoot each week. We must each post one photograph by Sunday midnight. In the near future, there will be a site to view each photographers' shots from each week. I will post the link to the site when it is created. I hope you enjoy this weeks submission!

Photo A Week Project " Week 1 " Part two
I'm back photographing for the photo a week project and this week I went for a fine art look. I photographed a local model and friend Hannah earlier this week and I decided to take very simple approach to these portraits using only ( 1 camera, 1 lens, only natural light, and no assistants ). I love the way the portraits turned out and can't wait for next weeks project.
